These components lift and suspend the hyoid bone, located at the tongue's root, creating tension that keeps the airways open while you sleep. The procedure starts with an incision beneath the jaw, then inserting two implants - one beneath the chin and the second behind it. The surgeon then repositions them, bringing the hyoid bone closer to the jawbone. If necessary, these implants can be adjusted post-surgery.
